Accomplishments

  • Eliminated backlogs in the civil and criminal docket;
  • Recognized by Judge Sarah Eckhardt as the “Champion of Innovation in the JP Courts” for leading the courts to implement cloud-based case management software
  • Established nationally-recognized truancy prevention program in partnership with AISD, LTISD, the Travis County Correctional Center, and the Schools of Social Work at the University of Texas and Texas State University
  • Piloted program with Parking Mobility to increase awareness of disability parking laws through enforcement and education
  • Improved transportation access by obtaining bus service to the Travis County Precinct 3 campus which includes a WIC Clinic and the Community Care Health Center
